Blog Pose #3

The first activity I did was Voyage to Serendip. It was interesting to see how frazzled I fot when i didn't find the island within the first 15 picks. It ended up takin gme 49 tries, on the hardest level, to find the island. The second activity I did was The Three doors of Serendip. I still don't understand how that game works but I will go home tonight to figure it out. you have to pick between 3 doors which one you think has 5 bucks behind it. I just learned that i got aggrivated easily. I realize now that I should take a closer look at things rather just playing. Yes it changes how i persieve the world. I will definately start paying closer attention.
People always associate love with the heart, but our brains are acctually what fall in love. This intrigued me becasue I am a sucker for a good love story. I find myself holding my heart when I hear one, when in reality I should be holding my head.
I also learned that biology does have alot to do with psychology. The better we understand our bodies, the better we can understand our minds and behaviors. I couldn't watch the man with 2 brains because my login wasn't working.

  1. Aleena, I too was starting to do "The Three Doors of Serendip" activity until I was so aggrivated that I decided to just pick out another activity. I don't think I read the directions as well as I should have either. It gave me a large headache because I just kept clicking on doors and paintings and I didn't feel I was learning or getting anywhere, but maybe the point is how easily aggrivated we get, how much we don't pay attention to detail, and how easily we give up on something that is challenging and mind boggling.
